Checkers, but make it handmade. The Awkward Checker puts an artist's touch on a classic grid — each square rendered in deep olive and golden-chartreuse against a warm cream ground, edges slightly uneven, brush marks visible, nothing perfectly aligned. The result feels energetic without being loud. It's bold enough to anchor a bedroom accent wall or a moody living room, and grounded enough to live with every day.
