A spot-on stat block for the most overlooked character in any campaign. Laid out as a real stat block on aged parchment, headed "Essential NPC, medium humanoid", with ability scores and actions including Give Quest and Back Stab, with 25 armor class from plot armor and 4 hit points. Perfect for any D&D fan who knows exactly how little respect the Essential NPC gets at the table.
