A checkerboard of ornate mosaic tiles set against a deep black ground — this pattern has the confidence of encaustic cement tile without the commitment of a renovation. Each square holds its own motif: bold florals, eight-pointed stars, quatrefoil blooms, and geometric medallions rendered in warm terracotta, olive green, and cream. The small scale keeps it lively and layered, making it ideal for a kitchen backsplash wall, powder room, or narrow entryway that deserves a real moment. It's boho and structured all at once.
